Anastassia Papisova is the first to independently master the Celtic (Irish) harp in Russia. She has performed in such famous Celtic music bands as the «Slua Si» and «Si Mhor». She is among the founders of the "Mervent" project and was part of it until recently. At present, in addition to the solo project started in 2005, she performs in the Oleg Sakmarov «SAK-MAR» band.
In August 2001 Anastassia had several successful recitals in Ireland. Thus, she became the very first Russian Celtic harp player to be recognised on Irish soil.
Anastassia is a permanent participant in all major events that have to do with the Irish, Scottish and Breton cultures. For the last two years her harp and her voice have sounded at the receptions at the Irish Republic embassy in Moscow, as well as at other embassy events. To Anastassia Papisova's credit is a joint performance with such famous modern folk bands and dancers as «Burach» (Scotland), Maggie MacInnes (Scotland), «Daimh» (Scotland), «O'Donnel Duet» (Ireland), John «Walles & Ivon MacKenzie» (Scotland), «Nairn Pipe Band» (Scotland), «Lyra Celtica» (Scotland).
Anastassia Papisova is also among the first to start independently mastering of the Irish dance in Russia (1998). When in Ireland, she went through a training course in one of the schools of «An Comhdail» association. Her Irish step often accompanied the performance of the «Slua Si», «Si Mhor» and «Mervent» bands. On June 1, 2003, Michael Flatley, the world-famous performer and Irish dance show producer («Riverdance», «Lord of the Dance», «Feet of Flames»), visited Moscow. Having passed the casting successfully, Anastassia Papisova was enrolled in the Moscow Irish Dance Academy of Michael Flatley (Michael Flatley master classes) that was just being formed at that time.
Solo repertoire of Anastassia includes songs and tunes of Ireland, Brittany, Scotland, as well as folk songs and songs of Russian performers.
